I'm Alaska Native, born and raised on the Yukon River. This land isn't a backdrop for me — it's home. My family has lived, hunted, and traveled these rivers and forests for generations, and that connection runs through everything I do as a guide.
Yukon Wild Alaska is a solo-operated sightseeing company based in Fairbanks. I started it because I was tired of watching visitors experience Alaska through the window of a crowded bus, narrated by someone reading from a laminated card. You deserve better than that — and Alaska deserves to be represented honestly.
I know where the caribou cross in September, which pull-offs have the best aurora views, and how to read the weather when you're 150 miles north of the Arctic Circle. That knowledge doesn't come from a training manual — it comes from a lifetime of living here.

Common Questions
What should I wear?
Dress in layers. Even in summer, temperatures can swing 30°F between morning and afternoon. I'll send you a packing list after you book.
Are tours suitable for children?
Yes — most tours are family-friendly. The Arctic Circle Drive is a long day (14 hours) and better suited for older children. Let me know your group's ages when booking.
What if the weather is bad?
Alaska weather is part of the experience. Tours run rain or shine. In the rare case of dangerous road conditions, I'll contact you to reschedule at no charge.
Can I book a private tour?
Absolutely. Private bookings are available for any tour. Contact me directly for pricing and availability.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before your tour. Within 48 hours, I'll do my best to reschedule you on a future date.
